Commissioning A Mural

What To Expect - The Process

Contact me with what you have in mind, preferably with a photo of your wall if possible. I can give you a rough estimate of price, to ensure we can work within your budget. We can then discuss ideas and I will create a design using Photoshop, so you can see how it will look on your wall. At the same time I will also give you a full quote, including information on the length of time the mural will take to paint. Each design is fully adaptable, we can add to it or take items away until you are completely happy. Once you are happy with the design the work is booked in at a date that is convenient for you. A deposit is required to secure the dates for your mural.

I hand paint each mural using non-toxic, water-based paints and I am fully insured. My projects are supported by Crown and Dulux, so I can ensure you're getting the best quality paints.

Pricing

The cost of each mural is determined by the size, texture and location of the wall, as well as the level of detail involved. It can take anywhere from half a day to a full month for me to paint a mural, depending on these factors. I paint throughout the South West, so when quoting I include the travel and commuting costs from where I am based in Plymouth, depending on where the wall is located.

To give you an idea, prices start from £150 for a simple feature and from £500 for a full wall. Outdoor murals usually cost between £300 - £2000. I offer a free, no obligation design and quote so it won't cost you to find out how much your mural would be. Quotes include all materials, insurance and travelling costs, as well as a time lapse video and photos of the final artwork. The price I quote is the price you pay, even if your painting takes me a little longer than I estimated. Call or email me for a free consultation and guide price.
